From Beauty Counters to Backstage Kits: My Story

Hi, I’m Lucy a makeup artist, beauty lover, and founder with a passion for creating cosmetics that feel effortless, inclusive, and truly made for everyone.

My journey with makeup began long before I officially became a makeup artist in 2019. Some of my earliest memories are of walking through the beauty halls with my mum, completely mesmerised by the glowing counters at John Lewis and Debenhams. Watching her shop for makeup, skincare, and fragrance felt magical to me. I loved the atmosphere, the confidence beauty gave people, and the creativity behind every product.

Those moments sparked something in me from such a young age. Makeup quickly became more than just products, it became a form of self-expression, confidence, and artistry.

My Story

Since becoming a makeup artist in 2019, I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many incredible people, each with their own style, personality, and beauty. Through those experiences, I realised there was something missing in the industry: products that were professional-quality while still being genuinely easy to use.

As a makeup artist, I know how important it is to have products you can trust in your kit  products you instinctively reach for because they simply work. Whether it’s for a soft everyday look or full glam for a special occasion, makeup should feel exciting, not overwhelming.

That’s what inspired me to create my own cosmetics brand.

I wanted to build a brand that combines professional performance with simplicity. Products that makeup artists love using, but that anyone can feel confident applying themselves at home.

My Mission

My mission is simple: to create cosmetics that are effortless, inclusive, and essential in every makeup kit.

I want to design products that makeup artists naturally reach for during every appointment, while also making beauty accessible for everyday users. Beauty should never feel intimidating.
